Myers Angling for Another Austin Powers

Mike Myers Newindpress has it via Ananova that Mike Myers wants to do another Austin Powers Movie. According to Ananova, Myers stated in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly that everyone is "circling and talking to each other." He also says that he really misses doing all of the character work. This would mark the fourth Austin Powers film.

While the series has had declining fan and critical acclaim, the fiscal numbers are impressive. "Austin Powers in Goldmember" made $213 million on its production cost of $63 million; while "The Spy Who Shagged Me" made $205 million. With profits like these, it's not hard to imagine that Myers might have less craft-inspired reasons for wanting to put on the crooked teeth again. --Terrence Ryan
