Fox Joins Movielink

What Is The Word? has an article about Fox partnering with Movielink to distribute films online. This will mean that Movielnk will have access to the libraries of all five of the major studios. It also signals that all the studios are at least willing to try and make alternative distribution channels work.

This comes on the heels of the announcement that Indian film companies are moving ahead with plans to widely and cheaply distribute films online. I know correlation does not mean causality, but I think it's at least possible that Filmfodder's take on the development put pressure on Fox to follow suit. --Terrence Ryan.
