Ventimiglia Cast in Rocky VI

File this as yet another post that I am legally obligated to make due to the fact I live in Philadelphia. Milo Ventimiglia, perhaps best known for his role as Jess in "Gilmore Girls," has been cast as Rocky Balboa Jr in the next installment of Rocky, "Rocky VI." This news come from ComingSoon.net.

It appears that the film is moving ahead quickly, with financing being provided by Columbia, MGM and Revolution Studios. The plot revolves around a retired Rocky being pulled back into the ring to go after a powerful adversary with the addition of a personal tragedy. It sounds great, no word yet on who will play Ivan Drago. --Terrence Ryan
