Equalizer Coming to Theaters reports that the Equalizer is the latest small screen classic to be promoted to feature film. It's the latest property to go forward from the Weinstein Company. No details about the cast and crew have been released, or even hinted at.

The plot of the film revolves around an ex-covert operative who hires himself out to provide covert problem solving at the consumer level. According to the report the original show was one of Harvey Weinstein's favorites. I tend to believe it, as this is a pretty obscure show to promote to feature. --Terrence Ryan
