Disney Might Buy Pixar?

IMDB is reporting that there's scuttlebutt that Disney is in talks to consume Pixar into it's gaping maw purchase Pixar. The possibility is coming up due to the back and forth negotiation over percentages for profit sharing between for Disney distributed Pixar flicks. In any case, the decision is not likely to come down in 2005.

This is a very interesting idea, which has both pro's and con's. On the pro's side, it could give Steven Jobs a position of influence internally at Disney. On the con's side, it could be financially impossible for Disney, as the rumor drive Pixar stock price up. Also Disney's kinda screwed up their own computer animation division, do you want them to have more control of Pixar?
