Studio To Open in Baton Rouge

KATC out of Louisiana is reporting that an unfinished construction project iin Baton Rouge is being converted into a film studio. The property was set to be a recording studio but was unfinished for reasons that are unreported. However the Celtic Group LLC headed by Brendan O'Connor will be converting it to host film, TV and video game production. They were able to buy the property for under $1,000,000. They cite both Louisiana tax benefits for film production, and a certain civic responsibility for the project. --Terrence Ryan
