RTE out of Ireland is reporting that Julia Roberts is in the early talks stage for her next role. It would be her first movie work since "Ocean's 12" and it would find her starring opposite Tom Hanks in an adaptation of a true history/political novel by George Crile. The story centers around a Congressman who starts the funding for the Afghani soldiers or Mujahideen who fought against the Soviet Union in the 80's.
This all is interesting, but the exciting part for me is that the writer tapped to adapt the project is Aaron Sorkin. Hanks and Roberts in a political story told by Aaron Sorkin? This could be an awesome project for all involved. --Terrence Ryan
