Luhrmann Starts Epic

Coming Soon has it that Baz Luhrmann is going to start work on a new epic film. The film is to be set around World War II and to star fellow Aussies Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe. Also from the Land Down Under, the writer, Stuart Beattie ("Collateral") and the set.

No word yet on plot. The only indication is the word "epic," and a comparison to "Gone with the Wind." With a beautiful leading lady, and a strong handsome leading man, it seems likely that it will be a romance set against the backdrop of World War II. --Terrence Ryan
