Avi Arad talks Captain America

Coming Soon has small piece that talks about the reality of Captain American. Avi Arad, the CEO of Marvel Studios, projected the movie to be out some time in 2009. An unnamed writer is working on the script, and no one is signed on at this point.

The new take on Captain America is planned to start at his origin in the 1940's. However it won't stay there, it will come into the "real world" of the present. The plan is ask the the rhetorical question, "Which is/was better, now or then?" Could be very interesting if Marvel achieves the same level of quality that they achieved with the Spiderman franchise. --Terrence Ryan
