China Bans Animated/Live Movies

In a weird development, IMDb is reporting that China is banning any type of film or TV program that features both live characters and animated characters on the screen at the same time. The only explanation via bad translation:

such films jeopardize "the broadcast order of homemade animation and mislead their development."

Now there are approximately 1 billion more people who will never see Disney's "Song of the South".--Terrence Ryan
