"Date Movie" Boycott

A boycott of "Date Movie" has been called for according to the Miami Herald. The National Coalition for the Homeless is calling for the boycott of the film due to a scene in which two characters beat a homeless person in response to a call for a "bumfight." It would seem that this scene is a parody of the Bumfight tapes that were available on the internet a couple years back.

It seems that this is a little too little, too late. The damage is done, the people that are going to see this movie have already seen it. The people that haven't are wondering: "Is that even still in the theaters?" --Terrence Ryan
