New Mexico Picks up Film Work

Jay Roach is going to shoot his next picture in New Mexico according to Coming Soon. The Austin Powers auteur will be bring the cast of "Used Guys" to his home state. The comedy, set in the future, tells the story of two male clones in a maleless matriarchy. The clones will be played by Jim Carrey and Ben Stiller.

This is a big deal for the state. This was evidenced by the presence of Bill Richardson governor of the state at the press release for the flick. There's no indication whether or not this is a one time deal or part of a concerted effort to bring film work to the state. --Terrence Ryan
