Regal Head Denies Shrinkage

Michael Campbell, the head of Regal Entertainment Group, says the talk of the closing window between theatrical release and home video release is premature, according to Reuters. He calls the focus on a complete collapse of it nothing but hype, but admits that it will shrink a bit. He also states that dropping the prices will not increase numbers either.

If wishes were horses....

That window is going to keep closing. Consumers want options. Theaters owners have to improve the experience. Blah blah blah... Yeah I've said all this before. Although I am willing to believe the point about ticket sales. One dollar here or there isn't what's keeping people from the theater. --Terrence Ryan
