Superman 3D

Digital Spy has a piece about the upcoming "Superman Returns." The first 20 minutes will be shown in 3-D on IMAX screens. No word on if all IMAX screens will show it this way, or just selected ones.

This is a gimmick to bring more people in. I have no idea if it will work. My gut feeling is that it won't. Unless it looks so spectacular that it generates tremendous word of mouth. --Terrence Ryan
