101 Best Screenplays

The Writers Guild of America released the list of the top 101 screenplays of all time according to IMDb. Topping the list at number 1? That would be "Casablanca. " The list also includes other usual suspects: "The Godfather" at 2, "Chinatown" at #3, "Network" at 8. The whole list is available at the Writers Guild of America.

I have to say, I'm not surprised by the members of the list. However the order was not completely expected. I thought it was heresy to suggest any screenplay could compare to "Chinatown." However, I have to agree, I think that "Casablanca" is the better story. --Terrence Ryan
