The Return of the Shiavo

Cinematical has an entry about an upcoming film that will tell the story of the Terri Shiavo debacle. The film in the works will be told from the view point of the husband, Michael Shiavo. Mike Farrell, (BJ from M*A*S*H) is angling to produce.

Cinematical was of the opinion that this was a brazen attempt to make money from human tragedy. For some involved with the produciton, I'm sure it is; however for some it's a chance to tell the story from a much smaller place than it played in the media. I hope that movies from both sides get made, because they would offer us a chance for something we didn't get from the media circus. We can see what fueled the passions that caused what should have been a small personal tragedy into a a media storm. --Terrence Ryan
