Kiefer Sutherland confirms that a feature film based on the TV show "24" is in the works. The story comes from Virgin.net. The film will be a blockbuster-type picture. Evidently there were rumors that it would be a parody.
As for the most interesting question "What format will it take, real-time or regular narrative? have been answered too. It will not be real time, rather a 2 hour representation of a 24 hour day. I have to say, that's kinda lame. They had a chance to do something really interesting. Instead you might as well see "The Sentinel." --Terrence Ryan
Hmmm....good find....
I think a real-time film would be interesting....Hopefully would turn out better than Johnny Depp's "Nick of Time"...

By not using that same gimmick in their feature film, it's just another thriller.

What could they have done differently then? Real time for two hours is good, but what else could they have done?
Perhaps fit the two hour real time film into part of the series, as a season finale?
