Industry Prices Piracy

Information Week is reporting that a study that totals the cost of piracy on the movie industry. They put it at $6.1 billion. They also have demographic data on pirates so they know who you are!

I find that number a bit self-serving. Are you telling me that the industry lost the equivalent of 3 "Titanic's" or 6 "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King's" last year. I'm assuming that they've assembled these numbers to being a new anti-pirate campaign. --Terrence Ryan
