Gamers Save the World in Bruckheimer's "Game Boys"

The Hollywood Reporter says Jerry Bruckheimer and Disney will produce "Game Boys," an action/thriller/drama/techno-flick that follows a pair of video game guys who are recruited to battle -- forgive me, I need to stop a moment to let the laughter subside ...

[30 minutes later]

Okay. So the story follows two video game players who are recruited by the government to battle "creatures that have come to life from a video game they have mastered."

Oh jeez. There goes the laughing again. I'll be back in a sec.

[60 minutes later]

I'm better now. The aptly-titled film ("Game Boys," although it would be so much cooler as "Game Boyz") is in the early stages of production, so stars, a director and a release date have not been announced. -- Mac Slocum
