Fletch lives ... again!
ComingSoon.net says "Scrubs" creator Bill Lawrence will write and direct two "Fletch" sequels.
The first film will be "Fletch Won," which is the same project "Clerks II" director Kevin Smith developed way back when.
Jason Lee was considered a Fletch front-runner during Smith's tenure, but the The Hollywood Reporter says Lawrence is lobbying for his "Scrubs" cohort Zach Braff to get the job.
Braff could certainly handle the role, but to me Lee always seemed like the perfect choice. Anyone have other suggestions?
Regardless who wins the coveted starring role, let's just hope Lawrence keeps that bitchin' "Fletch" theme. -- Mac Slocum
Oh and by the way...
I wouldn't mind seeing Will Arnett take the lead role either.

I had heard this rumor before (about Zach Braff, but not Bill Lawrence)... As sad as I am to hear that Kevin Smith is out, I think these two are a great match for this movie.
I am still holding out hope that Smith will do the Green Hornet and use Jason Lee for that. A girl can dream!
