Will Arnett: Space Invader

Will Arnett has stayed busy since the cancellation of "Arrested Development," having parlayed his comedic chops playing boisterous fop Gob into a string of film work. His IMDB profile lists thirteen projects since "AD," including the SNL-cast packed "The Brothers Solomon" and the Will Ferrell vehicle "Blades of Glory." (Maybe they won't all be winners, but, hey, the guy is certainly working for a living.)

Now "Space Invader" can be added to that list--about an astronaut (Arnett) involved in a space station love triangle. Long in development before last week's news about NASA love tangles, it will be hard to imagine that screenwriters Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger don't work in a few topical angles. The movie will be produced for Fox Atomic.

Might as well stay busy, Gob--doesn't look like Mitch Hurwitz is scrambling to make that rumored "Arrested Development" movie, anytime soon...
