The indie production team of Albert Berger and Ron Yerxa, the guys who brought us "Little Miss Sunshine," are at work on their next trick, which will come courtesy of Columbia Pictures.
"The Only Living Boy in New York" will be a coming-of-age story about a young college graduate who get seduced by his father's older mistress. Which, frankly, doesn't sound at all like the Simon & Garfunkel song of the same name, though it does bear a shadow resemblance to an older movie to which they did contribute some music... Well, all I know is that I heard Stacy's mom has got it goin' on.
Allan Loeb will serve up the screenplay and Seth Gordon has signed on to direct. No casting has been announced, or rumored.
