Appropriately enough, Napoleon Dynamite himself, Jon Heder, would potentially star in the project.
In the book, UFOlogist Redfern and a couple of his pals take off in a battered camper-van across the English countryside in search for mysterious beasties--or at least entertaining accounts of them. The book has developed something of a cult following in the UK, where it was published three years ago. Presumably if this is confirmed as a vehicle for Heder, the location could change to the United States. Remembering the creepy masterpiece of "American Werewolf in London," I can only hope not.
Odds of Heder's involvement in the project are pretty substantial, after all. His Greasy Entertainment company will produce, alongside Ken Atchity of eponymous Atchity Entertainment.
