Not since Ken Russell's "Gothic" has their been a hotter picture about the literary life. "The Best Time of Our Lives", concerning an episode from the life of Dylan Thomas, is now set to go before the cameras in May, with the two male leads finally cast.
Welsh actor Matthew Rhys, currently being seen in the American television series "Brothers & Sisters" will portray the poet Thomas, and his wife Caitlin will be played by Lindsay Lohan, the well-known friend of Paris Hilton.
The film will revolve around the real-life drama involving a childhood friend of this pair, Vera Philips (to be played by Kiera Knightley) and her husband William Killick (to be played by Cillian Murphy). There's something of a love triangle here, and a good deal of interest was generated in his project last fall when Lohan insinuated the film would explore in some way the "lesbian undertone" of the relationship between Caitlin and Vera.
Hot Lohan-on-Knightley action? Hmmmmmm... Nobody's going to go gentle into that good night, I bet you...
