Jack Black Has "Picked" His New Movie

Consummate performer, Jack Black, has signed on to “Year One”. The film will be produced by “Knocked Up” filmmaker Judd Apatow. Owen Wilson has signed on to executive produce the picture.

Most of you will remember Jack from “School of Rock”. Black most recently he has starred in “The Pick of Destiny” with his Tenacious D cohort Kyle Gass. Really, if you haven’t seen it AND aren’t easily offended, invest the time.

Michael Sera (remember George-Michael from “Arrested Development”?), will star alongside him, with Harold Ramis set to direct the film. Ramis also co-wrote the script with Gene Stupnikski and Lee Eisenberg. Just in case you have forgotten him, Ramis has penned great films like “Caddyshack” “Ghostbusters” and “Stripes”.

All of this information is according to Hollywood.com. There are no more details at this point, but Jack is one of my favorite entertainers, so I can’t wait to see what this picture will bring.
