Jim Broadbent to join the cast of Indiana Jones 4

There is more Indiana Jones 4 information coming out this week, according to Variety. One of my personal favorite character actors, Jim Broadbent, has signed on to play a Yale professor in the upcoming movie.

For those of you wondering, Jim has most recently been seen in “Hot Fuzz” from “Shaun of the Dead” creators Edgar Wright ad Simon Pegg. I am most anxious to see what he will bring to his role. Jim has run the gamut of acting, performing roles in “Time Bandits”, “Moulin Rouge”, “Bridget Jones” and “Gangs of New York”. He has also guest starred in many television series; from “Blackadder” in Britain to “The Facts of Life” here. (Yes, I grew up watching “Facts of Life” –stop laughing)

According to the Internet Movie Database, other actors set to work on the upcoming Indiana Jones movie are: Harrison Ford (of course), Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett, John Hurt, and Ray Winstone. Also rumored to be making another appearance is Karen Allen, reprising her role from “Raiders of the Lost Ark”.

I have been waiting a long time for this movie, and I can’t wait to see it.
