Nicole Kidman has a New Project in the Works

Nicole Kidman has run the gamut of roles. As you may remember, she was in "Dead Calm" and "Days of Thunder" way back in the late 80's/early 90's. She has more recently been seen in "Bewitched" and "Stepford Wives". Well, according to Variety, she is now going to star in "Monte Carlo", a new comedy with a romantic spin.

The movie is being co-written and directed by Tom Bezucha. The name may not sound familiar to you (it didn't to me), but Tom wrote and directed "Big Eden" and "The Family Stone". No, I didn't see them either.

"Monte Carlo" is an adaptation of the novel "Headhunters" by Jules Bass. The plot involves some women travelling to, you guessed it, Monte Carlo, to pose as extremely wealthy women who are looking for a little adventure and maybe some rich husbands.

New Regency and Fox 2000 are set to finance the picture. Fox 200o has worked with Bezucha on a few other projects, including "The Family Stone".
