Jessica Alba joins "Love Guru"

Mike Myers finally has a co-star for his upcoming movie "The Love Guru". Jessica Alba (down boys) has signed on to play opposite him. Jessica Alba had a slow 2006, but you will remember her from "Sin City", "Fantastic Four" and "Into the Blue". All of this information comes courtesy of Variety.

Mike Myers is co-writing the script of the movie with Graham Gordy. A very loose description of the plot is a caucasian baby is left at the gates of an ashram and is raised by, you guessed it, gurus. He travels back to the United States and tries to work his "mojo" on a hockey player and his wife. Yes, I know that mojo is from "Austin Powers", but since Verne Troyer a.k.a. Mini Me is also going to be in the movie, I just went for it. Romany Marco is also set to costar in the picture.

Paramount and Spyglass are joining together to make this venture a mid-June release.
