In St. Louis, a woman named Casey Ray found a completed copy of the Twilight: New Moon script in a trash bin. While the script has been rumored to be leaked online (this wouldn't be the first time a script has been leaked), the woman generously gave the script back to the studio instead of handing it over to a tabloid or website.
Summit Entertainment is very gracious for the woman's effort. "We thank Ms. Ray for doing the right thing," says Summit Entertainment Spokesman Paul Pflug. As a reward, the studio has invited Ray to the film's premiere.
Ray's lawyer Al Watkins claims that "My client didn't really want to get paid, but did notice that Ray was interested to keep the script as a collector's item." Pflug did not respond to the matter, stating that "Summit doesn't comment on any of the deals it does."
No reports of who threw the script in the trash have been confirmed at this time. The Twilight Saga's New Moon (written by Melissa Rosenberg) will be released on November 20th with both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart returning as the stars.
Joining the original cast is Dakota Fanning (I Am Sam, Man on Fire), Martin Sheen (The Queen, Frost/Nixon) and its new director Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass) who replaced Twilight's Catharine Hardwicke.
