With the season finale of Fox's 24 airing next week, Sutherland promises fans and critics alike that it will end on a powerful note. The groundbreaking television series is in its seventh season.
"It is going to end with some of the characters going through a very difficult emotional dilemma which will be much more dramatic than a big action sequence," Sutherland says. "I believe that it's the most powerful important ending that we've ever had to a season."
Sutherland was recently involved in an assault charge where he allegedly head-butted fashion designer Jack McCollough at a New York nightclub. Although he is still under parole from a prior DUI arrest, there are no reports declaring that this will effect the production of the 8th season of 24, which will begin filming later this month.
The season finale will air on Fox this Monday, May 18th at 8pm as a two-hour television event.
