Indiana Jones 5 confirmed?
In an interview with The BBC yesterday (while promoting Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen), Shia LeBeouf mentioned that Spielberg and company are planning a fifth Indiana Jones movie, and how it will most likely become official.
“Steven (Spielberg) just said that he cracked the story on it, and I think they’re gearing it up”, LeBeouf told the BBC.
While nothing is official, it seems these rumors will likely come true, since Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull made almost $800 million worldwide, and Harrison Ford mentioned that he would be interested in returning for another installment. While the fourth movie didn't exactly go over well with critics and audiences alike, it still garnered enough buzz and financial success for another sequel to be greenlit.
LeBeouf's new film, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, opens next week, with more massive hype and box-office potential than its predecessor.
