Why Pop Fodder Exists

I'm about to display the full depth of my geekiness, but I feel it's important to share.

Pop Fodder was born (in my head at least) as I was driving home thinking about nothing in particular. Suddenly, I was struck by this realization:

"Serenity is an awesome movie."

Yes. "Serenity."

And that thought led to this one ...

"Why didn't more people see it?"

See, "Serenity" is an awesome movie, and there's lots of other awesome stuff out there that people never see or hear about or read or witness. They don't experience this great stuff because they just don't know about it. So that's why Pop Fodder is here -- so you'll know about all the kick-ass creativity that's swirling around the Pop Culture 'Verse.

You see, Pop Fodder is founded on the idea that people deserve some friggin' credit for creating great things. It can be a TV show or a movie or a book or an article or a Web site or a song -- we don't care. If it's great and we (the Fodder Network editors) think it deserves a shout-out, then dammit, we're gonna shout about it.

So stay tuned. Awesomeness is coming ...
