The SciFi Channel's Photo Gallery page has posted two new images for the upcoming film "Ultraviolet" starring Milla Jovovich.
The images feature shots of Jovovich who plays the film's title character, Violet - a woman in the late 21st Century who is one of the many humans infected with a genetically engineered vampire-like disease called hemophagia, which gives them enhanced speed, incredible stamina and acute intelligence but shortens their lifespans.
As the world is pushed to the brink of civil war between the "hemophages" and the "healthy" humans - who are set on eradicating the "diseased" population - Violet finds herself with a 9-year-old boy marked for death by the human government. She is determined to protect him and find out why he is so important.
The movie, written and directed by Kurt Wimmer ("Equilibrium"), and also stars Cameron Bright ("The Butterfly Effect"), Nick Chinlund ("The Chronicles of Riddick"), and William Fichtner (TV's "Invasion").
