Enough Already! Abrams Chimes In on "Lost" Rumors

How many times now have we heard the rumor that Michelle Rodriguez's character Ana Lucia on TV's "Lost" would be killed off as a result of her highly public run-ins with the police? Too many.
In an interview at WonderCon in San Francisco this weekend, J.J. Abrams, co-creator of ABC's hit series flatly denied the rumor to SciFi Wire.
"While we don't want to report on the fate of any of the characters in the show, I would say without question that any reports that anything that's going on with any of the actors as being problematic or certainly resulting in changing the storyline to sort of, you know, get rid of them is just erroneous and silliness," Abrams said.
Rodriguez found herself in the media spotlight last December when she was arrested in Hawaii (where "Lost" shoots) for drunk driving. She pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to stand trial March 30. She was also cited for speeding in Hawaii three times last year.
Often called the best show on TV, "Lost" fans never know what to expect from the show's writers. Last week's episode, "The Long Con" was no exception. For detailed episode discussions, check out Filmfodder's Lost Blog and Lost Forum. --Shannon Nolley
