Unaired "Night Stalker" Episodes On iTunes

Night Stalker

According to the SciFi Channel, ABC making three previously unaired episodes of its canceled supernatural TV series "Night Stalker" available for purchase for $1.99 per episode on the iTunes Music Store. These episodes join the seven previously released installments already available on iTunes. The three newly released "Night Stalker" episodes are "Into Night," "Timeless" and "What's the Frequency, Kolchak?"

In "Into Night," two office workers toiling late into the night are found dead the next morning, their bodies mummified. Kolchak (Stuart Townsend) - the reporter on a mission to expose the truth of the dark underworld that stalks us all - tries to find out who or what killed them before it happens again. In "Timeless," Kolchak and Reed (Gabrielle Union) are perplexed when they cover a bizarre murder that appears to mirror similar deaths that have occurred every 35 years since the paper was founded. In "Frequency," Kolchak is kidnapped by a demented man who claims the reporter has been sending him "hidden" messages via his newspaper stories and that they were both institutionalized together at the same mental hospital.

The SciFi Channel previously announced that it will air repeats of "Night Stalker" - including the three never-before-seen episodes - starting next summer.

Personally, I'm rather mixed about this. I was one of the few who really tried to watch the show when it aired - and, naturally, had a lot to say about it when it was canceled. There were just so many things stacked against it. Am I tempted to download the remaining episodes that I never got to see? Sure. Will I wait for the SciFi Channel to air them so I don't have to pay money for them? Probably. --Shannon Nolley
