Review of "Lay Down Your Burdens, Pt. 1" on Battlestar Fodder

The season is almost over folks!!! I KNOW! It's horrible! What will I do with my Friday nights?

At least the folks behind the SciFi Channel's "Battlestar Galactica" are giving us lots to mull over during the potentially long and dark months ahead while the show is on it's season break. I'm afraid to even try to find out when the new season is set to begin. It'll feel like an eternity, I'm sure.

In this first part of the season finale a lot of groundwork is laid for a killer final episode. Tyrol lands himself in trouble again, Starbuck (finally!) leads a risky mission back to Caprica, a Raptor team "accidentally" stumbles across a previously undetected planet that can support human life and the President and Baltar go head to head as the election race heats up. Dean Stockwell, of "Quantum Leap" fame, guest stars as Brother Cavil, a clergyman who counsels Tyrol.
