ABC Announces "The Fallen Experience"
The ABC Family mini-movie-soon-to-be-a-limited-run-series (whew...maybe I'll just call this a limited series or something like that), "Fallen," has announced an Alternate Reality Game (ARG), similar to what Lost has created in "The Lost Experience." The game, which is apparently associated with the show, but not run by ABC or ABC Family specifically, can be found here.
I am only a casual follower of the "Lost" ARG. For those of you not familiar with ARG type games, they are designed to be web-based scavenger hunts, with viewers hunting down clues that relate to the events of the show. The games are designed for fans who want a deeper mythology around the show's premise. The game makers are generally careful to make sure that all information gained is supplemental - in other words, you won't miss anything vital if you do not play the game. "Fallen" is copying "Lost" quite literally, as they have created their very own Rachel Blake in Faith Arella. She has her own weblog, which looks to be fairly intriguing.
If you are a more casual follower (like me), it might be better to follow this site for game progress. It is unclear if this is an official forum or another piece of the game at this time.
