Authors plea: Don't kill Harry!

Several prominent authors have made a plea to JK Rowling to not kill Harry Potter in the final book of the series. At a charity event in New York, authors Stephen King and John Irving ('The World According to Garp') presented some arguments to JK on why she should make sure that the boy wizard lives.

Stephen King was quoted as saying, "I don't want him to go over the Reichenbach Falls', which is a reference to Sherlock Holmes and his untimely death. Arthur Conan Doyle eventually had to bring the character back to life (or rather, explain why he did not really die) due to the public outcry.

Irving expressed a similar sentiment, saying, "My fingers are crossed for Harry." In response, JK said that Irving had killed off many more characters than she ever did.

Oh oh. That can't be good.

Luckily, I have a theory...and that theory says that Harry does indeed live. After all, he is the Boy Who Lived! However, since JK has let loose the rumor that two characters die in the final novel, I believe that Ron is a goner. I am still working out who the secord death will be; if you have an idea, let me know.
