Tim Allen "Zoom"s to Theaters this Week
"Zoom," the new feature film starring Tim Allen as a retired superhero will premiere in theaters on August 11th. The film, also starring Courtney Cox (sorry, Courtney Cox *Arquette*) and Rip Torn, is about a superhero who is called back into action to lead a group of young superheroes into action. The twist is that he believes that he is there to teach a new squad, not to rejoin the fray.
Every clip that I have seen of this movie looks great. It has a 'Sky High' crossed with 'Galaxy Quest' feel to it. However, this film does not seem to have a huge media blitz associated with it. I was able to find this interview with Courtney Cox Arquette and Tim Allen, but very little other material. A PG rating should ensure that it is excellent kids fare.
