'Battlestar Galactica' Webisodes

The SciFi Channel is in the process of airing ten Battlestar Galactica webisodes on their site. The web series, entitled 'Battlestar Galactica The Resistance' began on September 5th, with new releases scheduled for every Tuesday and Thursday until the third season premiere on October 6th.

Each episode is 2-3 minutes in length and is part of a growing trend to provide additional content to hardcore series fans. These sets of extra content are not essential to the plot, but they help the fanbase bridge the long wait until the start of the new season.

This is all great - except, I can't watch them yet. As I mentioned before, I did not watch the first two seasons of the Battlestar Galactica series. But, I am happy to report that I am currently halfway through watching season one (thanks, WalMart DVD department!) and I am planning on obtaining the Battlestar Galactica 2.0 and 2.5 DVD sets in the near future.

So, by my calculations, this puts me caught up with the series by late October. Luckily, my TiVo is pretty clear, so although I might be a week or two behind, I'll be right in sync early in the season. So, you all have had an effect on me!
