Sci-Fi Jack O' Lanterns

I am getting into the Halloween spirit! To that end, here are some of the more interesting Jack 'O Lanterns that I have found on the web. And, of course, they all are Sci-Fi themed (would you expect anything else?).

First up is a great list of 'Star Wars' designs, which included a Stormtrooper, Yoda and several Sith designs. However, they were missing one of my personal favorites, so here is the Boba Fett pumpkin! My backpack's got jets! (gotta love MC Chris!)

'Star Trek' was my next target. I was not disappointed, as I found a very nice Klingon pumpkin here. The carving instructions are worth a read, even if this is not the pumpkin for you. After all, your "...puny human pumpkin awates its fate. Ensure your daq tahg is sharp, sharpen it on the skull of a treacherous romulan if neccesary." Entertaining!

The previous designs can be completed by people of normal pumpkin carving ability. But, if you are a hardcore carver, you have to attempt the Cylon. This is simply one of the most detailed Jack 'O Lantern designs that I have ever seen - it even includes circuitry needed for the glowing red LED!
