Sci-Fi DVR Alerts
This is a big weekend for Sci-Fi programming. Several shows are returning with new episodes in just a few days! So, consider this your DVR alert...if you still have to set these shows up to record. TiVo people - you can skip this post, as your machine will likely pick these up for you automatically.
Sunday, January 21st
9:00 EST (SCI FI) - 'The Dresden Files'
10:00 EST (SCI FI) - 'Battlestar Galactica'
I now officially *love* Sundays. Here's hoping that 'The Dresden Files' is good, witty and Buffy-esque. And, here's also hoping that Starbuck doesn't die!
With the return of of these shows on a new night, I effectively bumped my wife's selections ('Desperate Housewives', 'Brothers and Sisters') to the backup TiVo. Hooray!
Monday, January 22nd
9:00 EST (NBC) - 'Heroes'
A new episode of 'Heroes'! From what I understand, this kicks off a slew of new characters that will be added in the next few weeks. This includes characters played by Jessica Gilseg and Christopher Eccleston (the former Doctor Who)!
SF Signal also noted that 'Daybreak' will be available on ABC.COM on January 29th. The full episode run will be online, including 6 unaired episodes. They also put in the reminder that we have to wait until February 7th for 'Lost' and February 21st for 'Jericho'. I wonder if anyone will remember 'Jericho' by then? I officially dropped it from my list; I just don't think the writing on the show is that good.
Happy viewing!
Heh. Desperate Housewives got bumped to the bedroom TiVo at my house, too.
It wouldn't have if ABC didn't have it slotted as 1:01. If it was 1:00, then it would have fit fine, but because it's one minute longer, it got bumped.
In Dallas, a local station is showing Star Trek Remastered at 9PM Sunday as well, so I get Galactica & Trek at the same time. Both those record in the living room. Housewives is on from 8:00 to 9:01. Oh well. It get bumped because of stupid network timing choices. :)
