Things I Know About "Heroes"

I got my "Heroes" fix for the week and now I am ready with the speculation! Normally, I immerse myself in spoilers for this type of shows, but, for some unknown reason, I have remained blissfully spoiler-free for "Heroes". So, consider this pure speculation only. If you are into it, there is an extensive compilation of everything that is generally considered 'fact' about each of the characters here at the Unified Theory (as it is very humbly titled by the poster).

OK - on to my wild speculation!

PREMISE #1
If your parents have a superpower, then so do you.

Examples:

Niki + DL = Micah
Nathan + Meredith (the Fire Lady) = Claire

The powers really do not coralate - just the fact that powers exist. So, using this logic, it would seem to me that Hiro's sister will have a superpower. Mark it down!

PREMISE #2
If PREMISE #1 is true, the converse may also be true. In other words, if the children have powers, the parents may also have a power. This is not necessarily an absolute truth, because the powers had to start somewhere. The writers did say that the powers were based on Evolution, though - which to me means that the superpower gene should be hereditary.

By this premise, Hiro's dad and Nathan and Peter's Mom (or dead dad) likely have (or had) powers also. They were the first generation. Niki/Jessica's father also should be on the list. Mark that down also!

PREMISE #3
I really don't like this thought. It's cheesy and dumb and really below what I would expect from this show. But, I am going to predict it anyway, because the clues are too strong.

Niki and Jessica are going to split into two separate, real living people.

Look, Jessica has the tattoo - Niki does not. The prison doctor was trying to get Niki and Jessica to integrate together, but Niki wanted to 'get rid of her'. At the end of the episode, when Jessica was active and Niki was in the mirror reflection, the mirror actually shook when Niki hit it. That's a physical manifestation! I believe it is a strong precursor to a split.

I don't like the idea, since Jessica is supposed to be dead. But, the writers will come up with some sort of 'she was absorbed by her sister as she died and now has become strong enough that her essence can live independently' explanation...and I will say 'meh'. So, let's just hope I am way off on Premise #3!
