"Kyle XY" Returns

The ABC Family Sci-Fi offering, "Kyle XY", will be re-running its entire first season starting tonight (April 2nd) at 8:00 PM EST/7:00 PM CST.

Do you remember this show? It is the one about the kid (OK - high school age boy) who doesn't have a belly button. Adding to his weirdness, it turns out that Kyle has incredible physical and mental abilities - and he draws just like a dot matrix printer. The show puts forth a good bit of conspiracy, centering on Kyle's origin and the people who know what he is. Nicholas Lea (most famous for being 'Krycek' on the X-Files) was a welcome addition later in the season.

I caught several episodes of this show during its initial ten episode run. Overall, I thought it was decent, with some potential - a solid 'B'. If you are looking for something to watch while you wait for the season finale of "Heroes" to finally air, this is a pretty solid way to pass the time.

If you get hooked, the second season of Kyle XY is scheduled for Monday June 11th.
