"Neverwinter Nights 2" Expansion
It looks like the rumored expansion to the popular rpg "Neverwinter Nights 2" is preparing to release. An EBGames page had the expansion, titled "The Legacy of Gith", ready to ship on September 11th for $29.99.
However, the announcement is certainly not official, as the EB Games page has been taken down. However, you can find a discussion on the official NWN2 Forums about this topic, which has all of the speculation that one could wish for.
I, for one, hope that this is a true pre-release slip-up and not simply a hoax. I have played the original NWN2 campaign twice now (one time as a thief, the other time as a City Watchman) and have downloaded several player made modules ("Tragedy in Tragidor" was very good!). There are a few other good player-made modules in development, specifically "Dark Waters" and Rogue Dao's "Planescape Trilogy". But, I really want to see epic levels introduced - and that can only be done via an official expansion.
So, let's hope that "The Legacy of Gith" is real - and allows Federico, my Ranger/Rogue, to become an epic hero!
