"The 4400": Season Four

Starpulse is reporting that "The 4400" will begin its fourth season on Sunday, June 17th at 9:00PM ESTl on USA Network.

Here is a short summary of the current state of the series:

As we begin season four, widespread distribution of the drug promicin has created a dangerous new world, a world in which special abilities are no longer the exclusive province of the 4400. Fifty percent of those who take the shot pay the price with their lives, while those who survive are now ostracized by a government determined to rid the world of promicin forever. Promicin distribution was only the first step though, and what's next on Jordan Collier's agenda will require an even bigger leap of faith on behalf of believers and non-believers alike.

Now, I have never actually watched this show. But, comments from the show's fans have prompted me to queue up the first three seasons in my handy-dandy Blockbuster Online movie rental program. Let me know if I am wasting my time...but, this series about 4400 missing people returning with special abilities sounds right up my alley.
