Sci-Fi Presidential Candidate

With the Presidential races starting already, it is almost impossible to escape coverage of the 2008 elections. Even in the world of Sci-Fi, candidates are coming forth.

One such candidate is General Zod, former Kryptonian and, in his words, "...Your Future President and Eternal Ruler". Zod has launched a website, General Zod 2008, to manage his campaign and answer questions from his future constituency. Zod demands only three things: "...your tribute, your lives, and your vote."

The letter's page on the site show that Zod is not unopposed, however. Witness this question:

Q. The Spin Doctors claim to have “A pocket full of kryptonite”. Do you view this as a direct threat to your leadership? Are you avoiding them out of fear? — Secord 20
A. Who are these Spin Doctors? Do they dare to challenge my rule? Shall I close all the hospitals to flush out these mutinous doctors?

Clearly, Zod has much to worry about! Don't even get me started on Christopher Walken - Zod would never have a chance!
