New Date for "Drive" Episodes

FOX has scheduled the burn off of the remaining two episodes of "Drive" for July 13th. According to Zap2it.com (and the official FOX website), the previously announced July 4th airing has been bumped. Thanks for the advance warning, FOX (he said sarcastically...)

Now, I clearly liked this show. I still have faith in Tim Minear and I seem to like anything that features Nathan Fillion.

But, the sting of FOX's betrayal (i.e. the immediate cancellation) still is fresh in my mind. To be honest, until I read a quick snippet about the burn off, I had completely put the series out of my mind. I even erased it from the TiVo! Now, they switch the airing date.

FOX is testing my patience. I had previously advocated time shifting the show, in hopes that we could use it as an example of the power of the TiVo viewer. But now, I am reconsidering. I am thinking about not watching at all.

So, what do you think? Is it worth it to watch these final two episodes, or should the past remain buried?

The series was just plain good. The networks can be idiots and cancel stuff early all they want, while shoving drivel reality shows like (fill in the blank new bachelor rip-off here), but if they put on a new episode of Drive, I am so there!
