"Harry Potter" Marathon

The "Harry Potter" publicity onslaught will begin this weekend. Oh, sure, there has been a good amount of hype about the final book release (still July 21st) and the movie based on the fifth book in the series ("Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", July 11th release). But, as these dates draw near, the hype will increase exponentially. Normally, I'd be against this level of hype - but, it's "Harry Potter", so just count me on the bandwagon!

ABC Family is firing the first salvo with a mini-Potter marathon, beginning Friday, July 6th. They will air the first three "Harry Potter" movies, with a sneak peak from the new movie included in the broadcast.

Here is the schedule:

Friday, July 6
7:30PM – 11:00PM ET/PT - "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone"

Saturday, July 7th
3:30PM – 7:00PM ET/PT - "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone" (Encore presentation)
7:00PM – 11:00PM ET/PT - "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets"

Sunday, July 8
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM ET/PT - "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" (Encore presentation)
5:00PM – 8:00PM ET/PT - "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban"
8:00 PM – 11:00 PM ET/PT - "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (Encore presentation)

For some reason, these movies seem to get better each time that I watch them. Maybe I am looking for clues to the final book...but, I can't seem to get enough Potter. ABC Family can count me in!
