Vote! SyFy Genre Awards Open

The fine folks over at SyFy Portal are running the 2007 SyFy Genre Awards and the voting is currently in progress! The awards are a fan-based voting competiton for our favorite actors, television shows, movies and Web sites. Voting will continue for 30 days.

I think this is one of the better web awards. The nominees are reasonable - they were selected by fans and the SyFY Portal staff. In fact, the only beef I have with the process is that "Supernatural" was excluded. Out of my four highest ranked shows ("Supernatural", "Lost", "Battlestar Galactica", and "Heroes"), it was the only one not to garner a slew of nominations. I guess it is a little too much in the Fantasy genre to be considered here.

Now that I have voiced that small complaint - just go vote already! Voting is taking place right now and you can vote once per day, per IP address.
